Internship Description
- Assist with performing the design work by utilizing specifications applicable to that project, and design drawings
- Assist with the preparation of reports, designs, and drawings
- Assist with compiling the data required for structural design plans & specifications
- Assist with making a calculation of loads and stresses.
- Assist with preparation for plans for existing buildings where plans are not available
- Assist with conducting preliminary studies of proposed projects to obtain information as to space and design requirements, obtaining measurements, and making sketches preliminary to the preparation of drawing
- Assist with preparation of scale drawing of details required for contract drawing
- Assist with preparation of lavout and draw a preliminary sketch of the project to present to the client
- Assist with obtaining planning and development regulation approvals
- Assist with administerina contracts and managing projects
- Assist with inspecting properties to check conditions/ foundations
- Assist with monitoring and inspecting work undertaken b contractors
